Delete your ShiaNūr account             

You can delete your ShiaNūr account at any time, directly from inside the app:  

1. Open ShiaNūr. 

2. Go to the **Me** tab → **Account** → **Delete account**. 

3. Confirm. We will sign you in once more to verify it's really you,then permanently delete your account.  

What gets deleted 

- Your email, display name and unique account ID held by Firebase Authentication.

 - All of your synced devotional data in Firestore (settings, preferences, Qaḍāʾ counts and history, reading continuity, favorites, folders). 

- Operational backups are purged within 30 days.  

-Devotional content stored only on your device (cached audio, local notes)    is removed by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage. 

Delete specific data without deleting your account

You can also delete specific data from ShiaNūr without deleting your account. Depending on the feature, you can remove data directly inside the app, including:

• Favorites

• Notes and folders

• Qaḍāʾ counts and history

• Other user-created or saved devotional data where a delete or reset option is provided

Deleting this data does not require you to delete your ShiaNūr account.
